Listening - debate

We went through those issues last week. Talking and debating. So, today is the time to listen to other people's opinions on the subject.

Wednesday 13^th

As promised, we did the listening.

There was a variety of accents.

This was the order of speaking: American Man 1, American Man 2, Englishman 1, American Woman and a Scotsman.

 Which one was the most difficult for you to understand?

In our first lesson we found out a little about each other.

We debated wether to live in the city or the country. It appears to me that we both, sort of prefer the city to live in. And we could leave the country for a weekend or a holiday.

No doubt there are advantages and disdvantages in both cases. There are also some factors to be taken into account. That's why we structured the debate in several parts.

- Small Towns or the Burbs?
- Do you Live Where you Want to?
